Full-Day School Program |

| 8:30 AM | Students arrive. Students and staff play a name game and teambuilding game and review the purpose and goals for the day. |
| 9:00 AM | Students board the vessel and receive a safety briefing from the captain. |
| 9:15 AM | Students receive a brief lesson about the parts of the boat and how the sails operate. Students and staff set sail as the vessel pilots out of the harbor. |
| 9:45 AM | Students begin lessons, conducted in rotating groups. Lessons will include a variety of topics related to urban runoff and watershed studies (see Appendix for lesson descriptions). |
| 12:00 PM | Lunch |
| 12:30 PM | Lessons will continue and may also include trawl-net fishing in the lake. |
| 2:30 PM | Vessel docks and students depart |
| * Half-day school programs will be similar, though abbreviated (3 hours maximum). Start/end times arranged with group leader. * Full-day programs that feature a pre-trip visit includes one classroom period of pre-trip activity and discussion to prepare students for their experience on board. | 3:00 PM | Students arrive. A light snack is served as the educator and group discuss the activity and goal of the day(s) (depending on the project). |
| 3:30 PM | Board the vessel, safety orientation, raise sail. Programs will focus on teamwork and communication and challenging students’ leadership skills, as well as include components from our school programming. Some after-school programs may involve projects in the local community, such as the creation of murals, flower plantings, and neighborhood clean-ups. |
| 6:00 PM | Verbal, written or artistic debrief regarding the students’ role in the project and a brief project planning session for projects off the vessel. |
| 6:30 PM | Students depart. |
